FOX launched Big Noon Kickoff in 2019 as its own traveling college football pregame show to compete with ESPN’s College GameDay. The Gophers will have their first opportunity to host the show this weekend when Michigan comes to town with the Little Brown Jug on the line.

Big Noon Kickoff will broadcast live in front of 3M Arena at Mariucci, and it will begin at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday morning. The pregame crew includes Rob Stone, Brady Quinn, Mark Ingram, Matt Leinart and Urban Meyer. The founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, and sports betting expert Chris Falica are also part of the show.

The pregame show will lead right into kickoff on FOX, as Minnesota will have the network’s No. 1 broadcast crew for the first time this season. It marks their first time in the 11 a.m. FOX TV slot since playing at Michigan in 2024.

The Gophers opened as 6.5-point betting underdogs, and that line has moved down to 5.5 on some sportsbooks as of Tuesday morning. Michigan has absolutely dominated the rivalry for 60 years, and leads the all-time series 78-25-3. Minnesota will look to win the Little Brown Jug for the first time since 2014, and for the first time in front of its own crowd since 1974.

First-year head coach Kyle Wittingham has had a roller coaster start to his tenure at Michigan. After their controversial Week 1 win over Western Michigan, they beat Oklahoma and UTEP at home before being stunned at the buzzer against Iowa. This week’s game against Minnesota will be the Wolverines’ first trip on the road this season.
