The Auburn Tigers will face the nation's No. 1 team in their first game back from the bye week.
The Georgia Bulldogs take the top spot in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll ahead of Saturday's game with Auburn after defeating No. 7 Alabama on the road and getting help from Oklahoma, which stunned last week's No. 1 team, Texas, in the Red River Rivalry. Texas slid to No. 6 while Alabama remains No. 7 despite its loss to the Bulldogs.
Those results were just a few of the several shakeups across the SEC in Week 6. In addition to Texas and Alabama going down, No. 10 LSU dropped its second game of the season on Saturday, falling to No. 25 Kentucky in overtime, 35-34. No. 15 Florida also lost its second-straight game, falling to South Carolina at home, 38-19.
Florida fell completely out of the coaches poll top 25, and LSU slid 11 spots to No. 21. Kentucky advanced eight spots to No. 17 after its win over LSU.
Here is a look at the latest US LBM Coaches Poll following Week 6's results.
