It seems like momentum may have been shifting after the Florida Gators' upset win at Texas, but the betting odds certainly aren't in their favor on Halloween.
Even after the Georgia Bulldogs dropped a stunning home game against Auburn, UGA is still favored heading into this one by double digits.
According to DraftKings, Florida opened as 12.5-point underdogs, but the spread has moved slightly in its favor.
Still, Georgia is 10.5-point favorites, so it's not like there are a ton of bettors riding the Gators heading into this one.
The over-under for this game is currently set at 56.5 points, and Florida is a +320 underdog compared to Georgia's overwhelming money line spread at -410.
Florida looks to pull off the upset
It's extremely interesting seeing Georgia favored so much in this game, knowing what happened to them two weeks ago.
Obviously, each team having a bye helped in a big way, but this might've been the one time all year where Florida wanted to go right into their next SEC matchup.
Georgia is still vulnerable, no doubt, but the Bulldogs got well over a week to think about that loss to the Tigers, and now they get to take out that anger on the Gators.
UGA rose to No. 3 in the AP Top 25, and that came on a week where they didn't even play a game. Florida increased a few spots as well, so this is officially an SEC showdown between two top-17 teams on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Neutral site environment
One of the biggest things that goes into setting the odds is where the game is played. This may not be a true home game for Georgia, but at the end of the day, it's still played in the state.
The home of the Atlanta Falcons will host this one in what is the primetime afternoon game on Halloween.
For what it's worth, this is both teams' first and only neutral-site matchup of the season.
Four of Florida's first seven games were at home, but their most impressive wins have been at Auburn and at Texas.
Shockingly, Georgia's only loss came at home. They started the year a perfect 6-0, which included a signature road win at Alabama.
Not only does Florida have two ranked wins this season, but both are against top-10 teams. Sure, the Bulldogs took down No. 6 Alabama, but they're coming off a loss to Auburn that may have changed the trajectory of their season.
