He also fumbled at the end of the fourth quarter, giving the Gators the ball back, and they never gave it back to the Longhorns.
After the game, Gators head coach Jon Sumrall trolled the Longhorns by wearing a cowboy hat as he was walking out of the stadium.

Saturday’s win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Gators after they started the season with a perfect 4-0 record. They now have serious momentum going into their next game against the Georgia Bulldogs on Halloween.
Gators quarterback Tramell Jones finished the game with 155 yards through the air and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 41 yards. It was the first start of his career since Aaron Philo is dealing with an injury.
Considering how well Jones played on Saturday, he may be in line for another start against the Bulldogs, even if Philo is ready to return.
