ESPN 'College GameDay' announces Week 7 location

ESPN's "College GameDay" announced it will finally be on a Big 12 campus for the first time this season, GameDay is headed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at BYU Cougars game on Saturday, Oct. 17. GameDay has not visited BYU's campus since 2009.

The Notre Dame-BYU game has serious College Football Playoff implications. Notre Dame (6-0) and BYU (5-0) are both undefeated to start the season.

GameDay picked the Notre Dame at BYU game over other top Week 7 games including Ohio State at Indiana, Florida at Texas, Mississippi State at LSU, Alabama at Tennessee, Oklahoma State vs. Houston, Missouri vs. Ole Miss and more.

GameDay's trip to BYU will be the second time in seven weeks that the popular pregame show has attended a non-SEC campus. GameDay previously visited Iowa City for the Ohio State at Iowa game.

Last week, GameDay visited the Georgia at Alabama game, which turned out to be very competitive with Georgia earning a 20-17 victory after the Bulldogs were able to run out the clock.

College GameDay's 2026 locations

• Week 1: Clemson at LSU (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)
• Week 2: Ohio State at Texas (Austin, Texas)
• Week 3: LSU at Ole Miss (Oxford, Mississippi)
• Week 4: Texas at Tennessee (Knoxville, Tennessee)
• Week 5: Ohio State at Iowa (Iowa City, Iowa)
