Texas A&M offensive lineman commit Mark Matthews (Joseph Hastings/Aggie Yell)

The top offensive tackle classes in the 2027 cycle are loaded with blue-chip talent, and the nation’s best offensive tackles have long been off the board.

According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services, there are 32 blue-chip offensive tackles in the cycle and all of them are committed. Those 32 commitments are spread among 25 programs, and six hold multiple blue-chip tackle pledges.

Rivals breaks down the top offensive tackle classes nationwide as senior seasons enter the home stretch:

Note: This exercise only includes prospects listed as an offensive tackle by Rivals’ Scouting and Rankings Team.

Texas A&M

Five-Star Plus+ Mark Matthews (No. 4 NATL., No. 1 OT)
4-star Kaeden Scott (No. 198 NATL., No. 17 OT)
4-star DeMarrion Johnson (No. 231 NATL., No. 19 OT)

Matthews has long been considered the nation’s top-ranked tackle, and Texas A&M beat out Miami for the 6-foot-5.5, 285-pounder in May. The No. 1 prospect in Florida is one of five five-stars committed to Mike Elko and the Aggies, who hold the No. 1 class in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

A&M paired him with two in-state blue-chippers. Scott, a 6-foot-6.5, 275-pound standout from San Antonio Theodore Roosevelt, pledged in January. Johnson, a 6-foot-5, 300-pounder from Tyler Legacy, has been committed since August 2025.

Georgia

4-star Kennedee Jackson (No. 86 NATL., No. 7 OT)
4-star Kelsey Adams (No. 177 NATL., No. 13 OT)
3-star Miller Westerfield (No. 446 NATL., No. 35 OT)
3-star Ty Johnson (No. 536 NATL., No. 42 OT)
3-star DJ Dotson (No. 557 NATL., No. 44 OT)

Jackson committed to Florida in June after an official visit to Gainesville. That pledge lasted nine days, as Georgia got him to Athens for an official visit and then flipped him. The No. 8 prospect in the Peach State has been solid with the Bulldogs since.

Jackson and Adams, a 6-foot-5.5, 320-pounder from Fairburn Langston Hughes, give Kirby Smart a top-15 tackle duo. Georgia added depth with three more commits from Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi in Westerfield, Johnson and the 6-foot-7, 350-pound Dotson. The Bulldogs’ class ranks No. 14 nationally.

Oklahoma

4-star Kaeden Penny (No. 35 NATL., No. 3 OT)
4-star Cooper Hackett (No. 43 NATL., No. 4 OT)
3-star Luke Wilson (No. 636 NATL., No. 48 OT)

The state of Oklahoma is loaded this cycle, and the Sooners kept its top two tackles home. Penny, the No. 2 prospect in the state, committed to Bill Bedenbaugh and OU in September 2025.

Oklahoma also flipped Hackett from Texas Tech last September. The 6-foot-7, 260-pounder reminds Rivals’ Scouting and Rankings Team of former OU star Tyler Guyton. Hackett opted for shoulder surgery this summer and is sitting out his senior season at Fort Gibson. Wilson, from Southlake Carroll (Texas), rounds out the group.

Notre Dame

5-star Oluwasemilore Olubobola (No. 18 NATL., No. 2 OT)
3-star Jackson Hill (No. 427 NATL., No. 34 OT)

Touted as a “violent” run-blocker, Olubobola was a longtime Notre Dame lean, and he committed to Marcus Freeman and the Irish before taking his official visit to South Bend. Florida, Nebraska and Penn State were among his other top contenders.

Notre Dame flipped Hill from UCLA. The 6-foot-6.5, 300-pound standout from Chaminade (Calif.) will miss his senior season after knee surgery.

Tennessee

4-star Princeton Uwaifo (No. 192 NATL., No. 15 OT)
4-star Niko Kampas (No. 282 NATL., No. 24 OT)
3-star Q’Mari Hudson (No. 422 NATL., No. 33 OT)

Uwaifo, a 6-foot-6, 340-pounder from Murfreesboro Siegel, has been committed to Josh Heupel and the Vols since November 2025. He’s the No. 8 prospect in Tennessee.

Kampas gives the Vols an international addition from NFL Academy in London, and Tennessee beat out Virginia Tech for Hudson, the No. 9 prospect in Virginia.
