Florida State was once heavily involved in the recruitment of 2028 four-star safety Giovanni Tuggle. They offered him last August, and he took an unofficial visit in March plus he attended a camp in June.

Back in July, Tuggle got an offer from the Ole Miss Rebels, and then he took a visit to see them when they defeated the LSU Tigers. The 6-foot, 190-pounder committed to them on Sept. 22, but FSU hasn't completely gone away. In fact, per Kolby Crawford of Noles247, Tuggle will visit the Seminoles on Oct. 31 when they play the Clemson Tigers.

Tuggle is the nation's No. 56 overall recruit and the No. 5 safety per the 247Sports composite rankings. In the state of Georgia, he's the No. 9 prospect.

He will visit the Alabama Crimson Tide on Oct. 10 and the Tennessee Volunteers on Oct. 17 before going to see Florida State. Also, Tuggle will visit Ole Miss on Nov. 7 when they play the Georgia Bulldogs.

This makes Tuggle' visit to FSU extremely important. They were considered a top contender for Tuggle before he committed to Ole Miss, and this gives them a shot to get back in the mix in a huge way.
