Connor Robertson enters the 2026 season with national recognition and meaningful late-season experience at the middle of Texas’s offensive line. The fifth-year center was named to the 40-player Rimington Trophy preseason watch list, becoming the first Longhorn selected since Jake Majors in 2024.

Robertson has played in 30 career games. All eight of his starts came in 2025, including each of Texas’s final seven games. That stretch placed him at center for road wins at Kentucky and Mississippi State, the regular-season finale against Texas A&M and a 41-point Citrus Bowl performance against Michigan.

Texas has celebrated star power across the roster this preseason. Robertson’s case is different: continuity at center, earned through last year’s closing run, gives the offense a tested organizer as it prepares for the September 5 opener against Texas State.
