ESPN's "College GameDay" announced it will finally attend a game outside of the SEC. After going to four straight SEC campuses to start the 2026 college football season, GameDay is headed to Big Ten territory. The crew will attend the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes game in on Saturday, Oct. 3.
"I think it’s gonna be awesome," GameDay host Rece Davis said on GameDay returning to Iowa for the first time in 20 years. "I can’t wait to get there."
Last week, GameDay visited the Texas-Tennessee game, which featured a competitive game that came down to the final play with Texas prevailing. GameDay picked the Ohio State-Iowa game over other top Week 5 college football games, including Alabama at Mississippi State, Florida at Missouri, Miami at Clemson, Washington at USC, Vanderbilt at Georgia and more.
Georgia fans can look forward to next week. There's good chance GameDay will attend the Georgia at Alabama game on Saturday, Oct. 10. Based on the current rankings, the Georgia-Alabama game is the only top-10 matchup in Week 6.
