College football's Week 3 was highlighted by the anticiaped LSU-Ole Miss on Saturday night, which resulted in Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels getting the last laugh over Lane Kiffin, winning 32-24 in Oxford. The game saw Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss turn the heads of both Heisman voters and NFL scouts while dealing LSU, and his former head coach Lane Kiffin, a damaging loss in Oxford.

And while it was Chambliss that shined brightest, Kiffin managed to dominate the conversation. He was booed loudly from the moment he entered the stadium, and the energy around the contest was palpable from whistle to whistle.

Elsewhere, Texas A&M was shocked at home, losing 31-21 to unranked Kentucky at home. The loss makes the Aggies path to the College Football Playoff pretty difficult from here on out. Alabama survived a scare at home against Florida State, winning 50-36. Florida State actually led 21-6 in the third quarter, but the Noles collapse puts Mike Novell even more on the hot seat.
North Carolina State served up the disaster of the week when it found a way to lose to Vanderbilt on the final play of the game when a fumble in the end zone created the week's most baffling twist ending. The loss was one of the most stunning losses in recent memory.

In other games around the country, USC just barely slipped past an 0-2 Rutgers team 42-35, and Louisville defeated SMU in an ACC clash 41-31. On Friday night, Texas Tech took care of Houston at home 28-26.
