College football did its thing in Week 7.

With five of the top-10-ranked teams entering the week falling, including No. 1 Georgia's upset loss to Auburn and No. 7 Texas' second-straight defeat, the race to the College Football Playoff looks significantly different already.

On Sunday, the new college football polls dropped — and not only did every AP Top 25 spot feature a new team than last week, but there's a brand-new top three across the sport.

Here's how the new AP Top 25 poll already drastically compares to last week's and the preseason poll.

College football polls then vs. now

Already, from the preseason AP Top 25 poll, four of the top-10 ranked teams are no longer in such a position — with three of them unranked altogether.

Oregon (No. 2 to unranked), Texas (No. 5 to No. 19), Texas A&M (No. 8 to unranked) and Oklahoma (No. 10 to unranked) have all gone from being projected as one of the country's best teams, to collapses over the first seven weeks of the season.

Even comparing the Week 6 poll to the newest edition reveals some significant shakeups following losses from Georgia, Texas, Indiana, Alabama and Notre Dame.

Here was the top 10 of the Week 6 AP Poll:

RankTeam
1Georgia
2Notre Dame
3Miami
4Ohio State
5Indiana
6Alabama
7Texas
8BYU
9Ole Miss
10Texas Tech

Only Texas and Alabama were dropped from the top-10, but that doesn't mean there weren't some more significant changes.

There's a new No. 1, Miami, and BYU was the biggest beneficiary, jumping all the way up to No. 2 to supplant Texas, Alabama, Indiana, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia; it's the Cougars highest ranking since 1984. UCLA and Utah also benefited, jumping into the top-10.

Not a single team held onto its AP Top 25 spot in Week 7, either moving up or falling. Florida and Arizona entered the rankings, replacing Mississippi State and Oklahoma State.

Not a single team stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25. Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002 and BYU climbs to No. 2 after a historic weekend of upsets. See where your team landed: https://t.co/7dTTUiSC1j https://t.co/kIqcyb3Ewk

6Indiana
7Ole Miss
8Texas Tech
9UCLA
10Utah

If anything is clear, it's that the final CFP bracket will feature teams who have had an up-and-down campaign. Alabama, Texas, Florida and LSU will be looking to win out and make it with two losses, while UCLA (6-0) is the only Big Ten or SEC team still unbeaten. There are four additional Power 4 teams undefeated, including Miami, BYU, Texas Tech and Utah.
