College Football Fans Agree Week 6's AP Poll Top 25 Is 'A Mess'

College football fans have a problem with the latest edition of the Associated Press’ Top 25 poll on Sunday.

The Week 6 college football AP Poll Top 25 was released on Sunday afternoon, following an eventful week of games. Week 5 included a blowout performance from Alabama, a Heisman Trophy-winning game from Jeremiah Smith, dominant showings from LSU, Miami and Indiana, and others.

The latest AP Poll Top 25 can be seen below:

The other schools receiving votes: Kentucky 160, Wake Forest 142, Wisconsin 88, Duke 83, Northwestern 59, Nebraska 48, Minnesota 19, Arizona 19, James Madison 12, North Dakota State 7.

College football fans think the poll is ‘a mess’

“AP Poll is a mess. Ole Miss is 7 spots above Florida, a team they lost to by 24 last week. Easy fix: Mississippi State above Mizzou, Mizzou above Florida, Florida above Ole Miss, Ole Miss above LSU. Kentucky also dropped out with road win over South Carolina. Absurd,” Clay Travis shared.

“Mississippi State just lost by 33 at home and dropped one spot. They should’ve dropped 4-5 spots. You can’t rank the whole SEC forever. There’s good teams out there who haven’t lost a game yet and aren’t getting respect,” one fan added.

“It’s awful. If polls going to be used for hype, recruiting, marketing, television, then there should be an annual application process. Renewed EVERY YEAR!!!!” one fan added.

“Mississippi State dropping 1 spot losing like that at home is laughable & Tennessee should be at 20-22,” one fan added.
