Consider Cody Campbell displeased with Texas Tech's loss to Cincinnati on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The prominent Red Raiders booster and Chairman of the Board of Regents went on X (formerly Twitter) to voice his opinion on the Red Raiders' 37-24 road loss to the Bearcats in a game that wasn't as close as the score indicates.

Texas Tech trailed 24-6 at halftime after the Red Raiders' defense allowed Cincinnati quarterback JC French IV to throw three of his four touchdown passes in the second quarter.
The Red Raiders cut the deficit to nine by the 8:49 mark of the third quarter after a 42-yard field goal and a 53-yard pick-6 from Peyton Morgan, but French provided the answer for the Bearcats with his final touchdown pass of the day to put Cincinnati back up by double digits.
The Red Raiders won the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bearcats 9-7, but the hole was too deep to avoid the upset.
Cincinnati put up 255 rushing yards against Texas Tech's defense, which entered the day with the No. 1 rushing defense in the Big 12 at 88.0 yards per game. Cole Tabb was responsible for 173 of the Bearcats yards on the ground.

As noted by USA TODAY Sports' John Brice, Saturday's loss for Texas Tech is a detrimental one for the Red Raiders' path to the Big 12 title game and the College Football Playoff, as Joey McGuire's faces neither BYU nor Utah during the regular season. Both the Cougars and Utes sit ahead of Texas Tech in the conference standings.
The win for Cincinnati is their first against a top-10 team at home since Nov. 18, 2006, when the Bearcats defeated Rutgers. Texas Tech returns to action against Arizona at noon ET on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Lubbock.
