Georgia is the clear new No. 1 team in the AP Top 25.

The Bulldogs got all but three of the 69 first-place votes in Sunday's post-Week 6 poll after beating Alabama 20-17 in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night. The Tide stayed at No. 6 after the loss.

Texas, which lost 27-24 to Oklahoma on a field goal as time expired, dropped six spots to No. 7.

Behind Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State and Indiana fill out the top five. The Irish, Buckeyes and Hoosiers all won in Week 6. Miami was off.

After Texas, BYU stayed at No. 8 ahead of Ole Miss and Texas Tech at No. 10. The Red Raiders are in the top 10 after LSU's loss to Kentucky. The Tigers dropped 12 spots to No. 22 following the loss.

Kentucky is back in the top 25 this week after that win. The Wildcats were No. 24 after Week 4, but somehow dropped out of the poll following an overtime win at South Carolina. Now, UK is No. 15 and one of nine SEC teams in the top 16.

Oregon drops out after loss to UCLA

Both Oregon (No. 13) and Florida (No. 16) fell out of the top 25 entirely after home losses. The Ducks lost 17-15 to UCLA after committing seven turnovers without starting QB Dante Moore available because of his Week 4 concussion. Florida lost to a South Carolina team that was 0-3 in SEC play.

The Bruins jumped up nine spots to No. 12 after the win. UCLA should have moved up. But a nine-spot jump is especially curious given voters' opinion of Oregon. If the Ducks aren't a top-25 team, how is a two-point win over a team that's now unranked worth that big of a jump?

A loaded Week 7

Next Saturday is set to be the biggest weekend of the season. So far.

There are two top-10 matchups with No. 4 Ohio State at No. 5 Indiana and No. 2 Notre Dame at No. 8 BYU. Additionally, Alabama visits No. 14 Tennessee, No. 9 Ole Miss hosts No. 13 Missouri, No. 16 Mississippi State goes to LSU, and No. 18 Oklahoma State heads to No. 20 Houston.

Clear your calendar. The day could be epic.
