It feels like it's been forever since Iowa has played a football game, but that changes in two days.

The 15th-ranked Hawkeyes (5-1, 2-1) will challenge rival Minnesota (4-2, 2-1) for the iconic Floyd of Rosedale trophy in Minneapolis on Saturday afternoon (2:30 p.m., FS1). Your focus will obviously be on the Iowa game, but there's simply too many other great college football games that you have to keep tabs on. Remember what happened last weekend? There's your warning not to miss the games.

Without further adieu, here are some of the top games of Week 8 that should be of keen viewing interest to Hawkeye fans. Let's have ourselves a weekend.

NOTE: All game times are CDT

Friday

Duke (4-2, 1-2) @ Virginia (4-3, 2-2)

Location: Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia

Time/TV: 6 p.m. on ESPN

There's been a lot of interesting Friday matchups this year, but there's not really much to watch this Friday. But since you're required to get your football fix in on Friday, this is probably the best game to highlight. The ACC is a weird conference, so maybe Virginia and Duke can give you a nice appetizer here?

Saturday

No. 6 Indiana (6-1, 3-1) @ Michigan (4-2, 1-2)

Location: Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Time/TV: 11 a.m. on FOX

Iowa fans definitely have to pay attention to this game. Who knows how much weight it will actually carry later in the year, but the Hawkeyes need their win over Michigan to look as good as possible if they are in College Football Playoff contention. The Wolverines have a chance to make a statement at home against an Indiana team that appears to have a lot of flaws on offense.

No. 7 Ole Miss (5-1, 3-1) @ No. 19 Texas (4-2, 1-2)

Location: Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas

Time/TV: 6:30 p.m. on ABC

There's not a lot of good games in the afternoon window, but that's just fine because you'll be watching the Iowa game anyway. The evening slate is loaded, and it starts here in Austin. Could Arch Manning be benched?

No. 16 USC (6-1, 3-1) @ Wisconsin (4-2, 2-1)

Location: Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin

Time/TV: 6:30 p.m. on NBC

Luke Fickell has been desperately trying to win the disgruntled Badger fanbase back and this is his chance to do it. Wisconsin would likely be ranked if it can pull of this upset at home, which wouldn't be the worst thing since it comes to Kinnick Stadium next weekend.

Iowa State (3-3, 1-2) @ No. 25 Arizona (5-1, 2-1)

Location: Casino Del Sol Stadium in Tucson, Arizona

Time/TV: 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2

If you're in the mood to hate watch Iowa State, then this might be the game for you. Both of these teams are coming off bye weeks, so will that help the Cyclones slow down Arizona's dynamic offense?

No. 14 Houston (6-1, 3-1) @ No. 10 Utah (6-0, 3-0)

Location: Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah

Time/TV: 9:15 p.m. on ESPN

Pac-12 after dark is back .... sort of. Though most of the country will probably be ready to turn in for the night, keep your TV on until the crack of dawn to watch this game. You won't be disappointed. Houston has to win this game if it wants any chance at playing for a Big 12 title, while Utah is hoping it can join archrival BYU and say unbeaten.
