The Oklahoma Sooners are in the running for the nation’s top recruit in the 2028 class. And he’s set to make his decision in a few months.

Louisville (Ky.) Christian Academy five-star defensive lineman Kellan Hall will announce his college decision on Jan. 3 during the Under Armour All-American Game. The Sooners made the cut for the 6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect when he announced his top 12 schools in August. Along with Oklahoma, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia, Oregon, Texas and Ohio State are in the running.

Oklahoma won the big recruitment just three years ago when 5-star defensive lineman David Stone committed to the Sooners at the Under Armour All-American Game. Now, Oklahoma is hoping it can have the same luck with Kellan Hall. However, things are a bit different this time around. The Sooners held the home-state advantage for Stone. Hall comes out of Kentucky and has said many nice things about the Wildcats.
