Georgia Update
Georgia won their sixth straight Cocktail Party, this time in Atlanta and by a final score of 27-8 over Florida.
This win, combined with Ohio State’s loss to USC, saw the Dawgs land at #2 in the first College Football Playoff ranking of the season. The first rankings also mean that their game in Oxford this weekend will be a top-10 showdown with Ole Miss coming in at #10.
Our friends at FanDuel have Georgia with -5000 odds to make the College Football Playoff, only behind Miami who is at -10000. However, the Dawgs are +330 to win it all, which is the best odds of any team.
Ranked Matchups

#9 BYU at #3 Utah
#7 Texas at #18 Missouri
#5 Alabama at #14 LSU
#23 Oregon at #12 Ohio State
#6 Kentucky at #13 Tennessee
#1 Miami at #11 Notre Dame
Upset Alert
I’ve picked Ole Miss twice to win as underdogs. Ole Miss as lost both times. So you know what? I’m doing it again and going for the trifecta. FanDuel has the Rebels as 3.5 point underdogs against Georgia. No way Trinidad Chambliss and team doesn’t win at home against the Dawgs. Give me the Ole Miss to win outright. Hopefully the Rebels don’t make me look bad again (wink, wink).
