The Oregon Ducks got a big commitment on Friday morning, landing 4-star linebacker Brayton Feister, one of the top remaining uncommitted players in the 2027 class. Feister is rated as the No. 9 ATH in the nation, but is expected to be a rangy linebacker in Eugene, joining one of the top-ranked classes in the 2027 cycle.With the commitment from Feister, Oregon has jumped up to No. 3 in the nation this cycle, with 25 commitments at the time. They also have the No. 1-ranked class in the Big Ten Conference. You could argue that there is room for another running back or safety, but after taking a pair of RBs in the 2026 class and three safeties as well, they are pretty well stocked as far as young talent goes. How Big Will Oregon's 2027 Class Be?Right now, the Ducks have 25 players in their class, and as we just went over, not many remaining needs. It is fair to believe that they will sign close to this number of players in December. Ultimately, I could see them going as high as 27 players, but there would have to be a couple of guys who emerge this fall as potential targets, or a few flips that come to fruition.We've seen Lanning and his staff do an incredible job of both flipping top players and holding onto their commits over the past several years. I don't see Oregon signing fewer than 24-25 players, but I could see this class growing by a player or two if things break the right way.
