No preamble this week. I am already running behind, so this is rapid fire.

Friday

Washington (3-3, 0-3) at Purdue (3-3, 2-1) 8pm, FOX

Welcome tot he Ryan Walters Bowl, where Purdue fans are pissed that he ruined their program and Washington fans are pissed his defense has been lit up by Minnesota and Iowa in recent weeks. It’s going to be chilly, windy, and rainy. Purdue 37, Washington 27

Saturday

#4 Ohio State (5-1, 3-0) at #5 Indiana (6-0, 3-0) FOX’S B1G NUDE SATURDAY

A lot is at stake here. Indiana takes a vicegrip on the conference with a win. Ohio State can win back the THE for the first time in two years. The Bucks have never lost a chance to regain the THE in all three previous attempts. Ohio State 24, Indiana 21

#25 Northwestern (4-1, 1-1) at Michigan State (2-4, 0-3) Noon, Peacock

Northwestern has been really impressive so far, and now they can stick it to former Wildcat legend Pat Fitzgerald. Northwestern 31, Michigan State 17

Rutgers (1-4, 0-2) at Maryland (2-4, 0-3) 12:30pm, BTN

Big Ten Network is contractually obligated to broadcast this game. That’s the best thing you can say about it. Maryland 17, Rutgers 14

Penn State (3-3, 0-3) at Michigan (3*-2, 0-2) 3:30pm, CBS

Welcome to this year’s sadness bowl! The loser will go from preseason top 20 to winless in conference after three (if not four) games and at least two behind Purdue. Some fan base is going to be very mad. Penn State 21, Michigan 13

Wisconsin (4-1, 2-0) at #12 UCLA (5-0, 3-0) 7:30pm, NBC

Is Wisconsin really this good? They have recovered nicely after the opening loss to Notre Dame, but UCLA is playing some very good football and with their run game the injury to Nico Iamaleava is mitigated. UCLA 34, Wisconsin 24

Nebraska (5-1, 2-1) at Oregon (3-2, 1-1) 11pm, FOX

This one is well past my bedtime and I already put in a late night when Purdue was out at UCLA. We all know what Nebraska does in big games. Oregon 27, Nebraska 24
