As Jedd Fisch's coaching staff does some recruiting over Washington's bye week, safeties coach Taylor Mays has shown some interest in four-star Terence Parsee of Rancho Cucamonga High School in Southern California.
On Friday, the 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back, who is ranked as the No. 71 overall prospect and No. 7 safety in the 2028 class by Rivals, received an offer from the Huskies, bringing him up to 19 scholarship offers.
As Alabama, California, Miami, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin are among the programs vying for his commitment, Mays and defensive coordinator Ryan Walters could make a big push after Parsee based on the skill set he displays on film.

Parsee is a physical presence on the back end who often finds himself in the right place to finish off a ball carrier or make a play on the ball thanks to his athleticism and instincts, similar to the role that Walters asks sophomore Rylon Dillard-Allen to play.
As the Huskies look to build around Dillard-Allen and freshman Gavin Day in the near future, adding Parsee would give Walters another hard-hitting, rangy defensive back who can move around the formation when the defensive coordinator turns to a three-safety look to counter two-tight end personnel from opposing offenses.
Over the first half of the season, Parsee has taken unofficial visits to Arizona, Nebraska, North Carolina, and USC, and the Huskies may be aiming to invite him to one of their final two home games.
