Sportsbooks opening odds put a double digit spread in favor of Ole Miss with Auburn coming to Vaught Hemingway Stadium on Saturday.

The Rebels (5-2, 3-2 SEC) are coming off a disappointing loss to Texas on the road, 34-27, where it eliminated a 21-point deficit in the second half only to come up short. Auburn, meanwhile, had a massive upset over No. 1 Georgia two weeks ago and then came home to get demolished by LSU, 38-17.

Vegas oddsmakers opened odds for the game favoring Ole Miss -13.5 and immediate action on the game moved the line to -12.5 quickly on Sunday morning. Auburn (4-3, 2-3 SEC) has really only one game where it lost by a large margin and that was its most recent game.

Ole Miss will be looking for a huge bounce back after its second loss of the season. The Rebels are now on the cusp of being out of consideration for the College Football Playoff without a streak of wins to finish the season.

Historically, this is a lopsided series between these two charter members of the SEC with Auburn holding a 35-12 advantage. The Rebels however have won the last two games in the series with these two teams having not played each other since 2023.

Kickoff is set for 11:45 a.m. on Saturday in Oxford, and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
