Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons collected three national awards after a record-setting performance at Tennessee.
Texas junior Colin Simmons was named National Player of the Week by the Bednarik Award, Nagurski Trophy and Walter Camp Award after the Longhorns' 20-17 win at Tennessee.
Simmons set a Texas single-game record with 5.5 sacks, added nine tackles and forced a fumble. His 5.5 sacks also matched the SEC single-game record.
