Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons received recognition for community service, academics and athletic achievement.
Colin Simmons has been named to the 2026 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy watch list for the first time. The award recognizes FBS players who combine community service, academic excellence and on-field achievement.
Simmons started all 13 games in 2025 and led Texas with 15.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Away from football, he co-founded Clay's Color Crew to expand autism resources in underserved areas.
