Tennessee newcomer Tyler Watts is one of two freshmen among 25 players selected for the preseason Haskins Award watch list.
Tennessee freshman Tyler Watts begins his college career on the 25-player preseason watch list for the Fred Haskins Award, which recognizes the top men’s Division I golfer. He is one of only two incoming freshmen included.
Watts arrives after winning the Northeast Amateur at age 18 and climbing to No. 3 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He is also scheduled to represent the United States in the Walker Cup on Sept. 5-6 in Ireland.
