No. 24 Tennessee defeated South Alabama 2-0 behind the first collegiate goals of Ayva Jordan and Devin Davis. Jordan headed in the opener in the 27th minute, and Davis added another headed goal in the 79th.
Bella Smith assisted on both goals, while Cayden Norris recorded her 13th career clean sheet. The Lady Vols improved to 2-0 and next host Milwaukee on Thursday.
