TCU punter John Hoyet Chance was named to the 2026 Ray Guy Award preseason watch list.
Chance enters his first season with the Horned Frogs after transferring from Louisiana Tech. In 2025, he averaged 47.27 yards across 66 punts, placed 28 inside the 20-yard line and recorded a long of 72 yards.
The junior also received preseason recognition from Sports Info Solutions. The Ray Guy Award honors the nation's top college punter.
