Coach Shane Beamer’s South Carolina Gamecocks welcomed the Texas A&M Aggies to Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbis, South Carolina for a game that saw star QB LaNorris Sellers exit with an apparent injury. Sellers turned heads with his unique choice of internship before the game and then took the field to battle the Aggies.

Sellers pulled a Willis Reed in the fourth quarter as he came back into the game. He wasn’t moving as well as fans had noticed before, but he still reeled off a clutch game-winning touchdown run that sent the hometown faithful into a ruckus in Columbia.

South Carolina won by a score of 17-9, moving to 6-3 on the season, 4-3 in the rugged SEC Conference.

They managed to bring home the win on the strength of 251 passing yards, even though the Aggies outgained them on the day by totals of 457 to 360. Sellers finished with 20-of-31 completions for 251 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 34 yards on six carries including the game winner.

His top receiving target was former five-star recruit Nyck Harbor, a physically imposing player with track speed who caught four passes for 70 yards. Mazeo Bennett Jr. added three catches for 66 yards and a touchdown while Brady Hunt added three catches for 51 yards.

Sellers was up to his old tricks in Week 9 against Oklahoma, and looked like a stud against the Aggies in a winning effort. The Gamecocks now have a chance to finish their season out on a strong note with Arkansas, No. 2 Georgia, and Clemson on the docket in the near future.
