ESPN "College GameDay" analyst Rece Davis' top-10 changed a lot after Week 5, Davis no longer ranks the Florida Gators in his top 10 and finally moved the Alabama Crimson Tide into his top-10 after the Crimson Tide demolished the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Davis continues to rank the Texas Longhorns as his No. 1 team. Texas (61 first-place votes) remains the top team in the AP Poll. Davis thinks that Texas' win over Ohio State is the best win team has this season.
Davis' top six remains unchanged. He has Notre Dame at No. 2, Ohio State at No. 3, Indiana at No. 4, Miami at No. 5 and Georgia at No. 6 after Week 5. Davis is one of only two AP voters to rank Georgia outside his top five. Georgia has won every game by over 20 points to start the season and is finally expected to face a true test in Week 6.
SEC teams make up half of Davis' top-10. He notably moved Alabama up to No. 7 ahead of the Crimson Tide's clash with Georgia. Additionally, Davis moved BYU up a couple of slots.
