The No. 1 team in the AP Top 25 had Saturday off as Texas prepared for its Red River Rivalry showdown with Oklahoma on Oct. 10.
There will be a shakeup in the Top 10 as Florida was clobbered by Missouri a week after the Gators surged up the rankings with a romp over Ole Miss.
The problem is the SEC teams play each other week after week once conference season starts. Next week is a perfect example of a game that's going to create a problem for one team in the SEC or another as undefeated Alabama meets undefeated Georgia in Tuscaloosa.
Would love to have set up the Tide in the three slot so its game with the Dawgs would be a 2-3 matchup but they would have to leap too many teams to get there.
