AMES, Iowa — It’s a Halloween night game in a stadium that has housed haunts for the Oklahoma State football team.

Iowa State hosts OSU at 6 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium.

In Jack Trice Stadium in 2011, OSU kicker Quinn Sharp’s 37-yard field goal with 1:17 left in the fourth quarter sailed just wide and the Cyclones stunned the No. 2 Cowboys in double overtime with a 37-31 win.

In 2021, Cowboy receiver Brennan Presley came up just short on a fourth-and-2 screen play in the fourth quarter and the undefeated No. 8 Cowboys lost 24-21.

OSU’s most recent win in Jack Trice Stadium came in 2019.

The Cyclones, wearing their all-black uniforms are attempting to give another ranked Cowboy team a trick. No. 24 OSU is a 9.5-point favorite.

OSU leads the all-time series with Iowa State 34-22-3. The Cowboys are 15-14-1 in Ames.

The Cyclones won the most recent matchup 20-13 last season in Boone Pickens Stadium.
