This weekend of college football certainly did not disappoint, from an entertainment standpoint. There were some crazy upsets in college football, two Top 10 matchups that came down to the final plays and several teams who didn't perform up to the standard. The undefeated, and 2nd-ranked, Notre Dame Fighting Irish were on the road against the undefeated and 8th-ranked BYU Cougars and came up short despite a valiant comeback attempt inside of the final two minutes.

The Cougars out coached and outplayed the Irish, but the level of talent of the Fighting Irish roster is what brought them back into the game. There season is far from over, and the bye week is coming at a crucial time. But their loss to BYU on the road knocked them down to No, 8 in the rankings while the undefeated Cougars went from No. 8 to No, 3 in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Notre Dame vs BYU game wasn't the only games that shook up the rankings this weekend. There were several matchups that impacted this week's Top 25 Coaches poll in an unprecedented weekend of upsets. The Georgia Bulldogs lost at home to an unranked Auburn teams 27-24 causing the Dogs to drop to No. 4 in the rankings. The Miami Hurricanes survived at home against the Florida State Seminoles in double-OT vaulting them to No. 1 in the Coaches Poll.

The Ohio State Buckeyes also moved up after beating the Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington 19-15. The Buckeyes now rank No. 2 in the poll while the Hoosiers fall to No. 6. The Alabama Crimson Tide dropped back to back regular season games for the first time since 2007 causing them to fall to No. 13 in the poll. The Tennessee Volunteers are now inside of the Top 12 ranked No. 11.

Texas lost to an unranked Florida team (again) causing them to drop out of the Top 10 along with the Crimson Tide. The Longhorns now rank No. 18 in the Coaches Poll. The Ole Miss Rebels and the Texas Tech Red Raiders both handled their business and have climbed in the rankings to No. 7 and No. 5 respectively.
