Minnesota’s 2026 soccer schedule wastes little time revealing what travels. After opening at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium against North Dakota on August 13 and Georgia on August 16, the Gophers head to North Dakota State and BYU for consecutive road matches.
The full calendar includes opponents from three power conferences and 10 programs that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The nonconference portion closes back in Minneapolis against St. Thomas and Colorado College, giving Minnesota six matches to establish its shape before Big Ten play.
Conference competition begins at home against Iowa, then immediately sends the Gophers to Penn State. Later home dates with Washington and Oregon arrive before the regular-season finale at Illinois. The schedule alternates familiar regional opponents with national-level tests, which should make August more diagnostic than ceremonial.
