Minnesota returns home after a three-goal first half carried Purdue to a 3-0 result.
Minnesota’s Big Ten road swing ended with a 3-0 loss at Purdue, where the Boilermakers scored three times in the opening 22 minutes. The Gophers kept the match scoreless after halftime but could not erase the early deficit.
Sarah Martin made six saves for Minnesota, while Katelyn Rigg, Sawyer Danielson and Hailee Christensen generated late chances. The Gophers return to Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium to host Maryland on Friday, Oct. 2.
