Josh Heupel will face Arkansas for a third time on Saturday as Tennessee's head coach.

He will play at Arkansas for a second time with the Vols. The Razorbacks defeated Tennessee, 19-14, on Oct. 5, 2024 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Tennessee was victorious against Arkansas, 34-31, at Neyland Stadium on Oct. 11, 2025.

Heupel served as Missouri's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2016-17. He faced the Razorbacks in both seasons, winning both contests.

In his one road contest with Missouri at Arkansas, the Tigers won, 48-45, on Nov. 24, 2017. Missouri's offense totaled 696 yards (448 passing, 248 rushing) and 102 plays at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Missouri quarterback Drew Lock completed 25-of-42 passing attempts for 448 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions.

Running back Ish Witter recorded 170 rushing yards and one touchdown on 39 attempts for the Tigers. Missouri's leader for receptions (10) and receiving yards (160) was J'Mon Moore. He also scored one receiving touchdown.

Emanuel Hall and Albert Okwuegbunam Jr. scored two receiving touchdowns each for the Tigers. Hall also recorded 111 receiving yards.

Missouri trailed by 14 points two times during the first half. The SEC contest had five lead changes.
