Indiana has made a change at quarterback in the second half against Minnesota on Saturday.
Hoosiers starting quarterback Josh Hoover didn't trot out onto the field with the offense to begin the second half at Memorial Stadium, with backup Grant Wilson leading the first team onto the field as Indiana faces a 10-7 deficit.
"Guess we'll let everybody know who trots out," IU coach Curt Cignetti told CBS prior to the second half. "We're down three points, not 30. We've just lost our minds."
The move comes after Hoover, who has played the past two weeks banged up, took a hit at the end of the first half that saw him stay down on the field for a brief moment before walking off gingerly. He was removed from the Hoosiers' final injury report ahead of kickoff after being listed as "probable" on it earlier in the week.

The TCU transfer's first half against the Gophers wasn't much better than his overall start last week against Michigan.
Hoover finished 8-of-19 passing for 119 yards and a touchdown, a 9-yard pass to Nick Marsh in the Hoosiers' third offensive series, and an interception in the first half. His interception came on Indiana's final drive of the half on a third-down pass attempt, the same play he got banged up on.
Speaking with reporters following Indiana's win over Michigan last week, Indiana coach Curt Cignetti told reporters there was "a lot of discussion" at halftime about whether Indiana would go with Hoover or Wilson in the second half against the Wolverines. But at the end of the day, the Hoosiers stayed with their starter as "it's been Josh's season."
"I think at the end of the day, we've felt it's been Josh's season, and even though he's not 100%, we've got to finish it out with him," Cignetti said. "He responded."
