Indiana football, in spite of a win that felt like it set the offensive side of the ball back several decades this past Saturday, moved up in the AP Top-25 poll on Sunday afternoon.

The Hoosiers made the jump to No. 4 from No. 6, leapfrogging Notre Dame to move back into the top-5. Indiana’s lone loss is both narrow and came against No. 2 Ohio State while the Fighting Irish’s lone loss got worse when BYU fell to Scott Frost’s UCF on Saturday night.

Indiana owns a ranked win against No. 20 Northwestern. Both Minnesota and USC, two remaining opponents on the Hoosiers’ schedule, were in the “receiving votes” category with the Golden Gophers upsetting Iowa and the Trojans falling to Wisconsin.
