The initial SEC availability report for Florida football's Week 7 matchup with the Texas Longhorns was released on Wednesday night, with four players from each team landing on their respective lists.
For the Gators, running back Duke Clark is listed as out and will not be available to play. Meanwhile, quarterback Aaron Philo, along with wide receivers Vernell Brown III and Bailey Stockton, are listed as questionable with three days remaining until kickoff.
Clark suffered a left ankle injury during the first half against South Carolina last Saturday and was seen wearing a boot on the sideline during the second half. It appears that his ailment will require some time to resolve — fortunately, Florida runs deep in the running back room.

As for Philo, CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz reported earlier Wednesday that he has been limited in practice this week while recovering from a shoulder injury. Presumably, it occurred on a fourth-quarter scramble against South Carolina last Saturday, after which he was pulled for a play and eventually the game.
Brown's absence is a continuation of a knee strain he sustained against Ole Miss in Week 4. The sophomore standout missed most of that game and both of the past two contests against Missouri and South Carolina.
"VB's trying to play. He's not like, 'I'm going to take the week off' or 'I'm going to take next week.' No, he's trying like hell to play," Florida head coach Jon Sumrall said on Monday. "But at the same time, we have to be smart-tough, not dumb-tough."
Stockton's appearance on the availability report is for an undisclosed reason, but he recently sustained a back injury on a targeted hit against Ole Miss. He was listed as questionable ahead of the Missouri game but ended up playing in that road loss as well as the homecoming game defeat the following week.
Texas has four players listed on Wednesday's SEC availability report, with one player in each category: defensive lineman Justus Terry (probable); offensive lineman Jordan Coleman (questionable); wide receiver Kaliq Lockett (doubtful); offensive lineman Jaydon Chatman (out).
