Florida State continues to try to get a head start on the 2029 recruiting class. They have extended an offer to running back Marco Huff out of Commerce High School in Commerce, Georgia.
"After a great conversation with @TeamKamMartin I’m blessed to receive a offer from Florida State," Huff announced on social media.
FSU is now one of five offers that the high school sophomore has received. The others are from the Georgia Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and the Maryland Terrapins.
Huff is a running back recruit, but he also plays linebacker at Commerce. As a freshman, he racked up 363 yards on 55 carries and scored three touchdowns while also producing 21 yards on three catches. On defense, Huff put up 15 tackles.
His sophomore year has been a lot more productive in just five games. Huff has run for 680 yards on 67 carries and scored 10 touchdowns, plus he's hauled in four receptions for 42 yards. He also has 19 tackles, three tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery.
Huff joins four-star edge Dotarius Washington, four-star defensive lineman Tatum White, three-star edge Ben McFadden, and athlete Jamarion Dunwood as some of the 2029 prospects that Florida State has offered.
