College football Top 25 polls include four Big 12 teams before Week 2

The Big 12 has four teams ranked in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 1 of the season, led by No. 13 Texas Tech, which beat Abilene Christian, 33-10, in its season opener.

The Red Raiders fell one spot from No. 12 in the poll.

BYU stayed at No. 15 in the poll. The Cougars beat Utah Tech in Week 1, 63-7.

Utah moved up one spot in the ranking to No. 20 after its 66-14 win over Utah, while Houston climbed two spots to No. 22 in the poll after a 33-20 win over Oregon State.

Arizona picked up 42 votes in the poll after its 35-7 win over NAU (it had 50 votes in the preseason poll).

Arizona State received 11 votes after its 70-7 win over Morgan State, up from eight votes in the preseason ranking.

Kansas State received six votes in the poll after a 71-3 win over Nicholls State, while Colorado got one vote after a 14-13 win over Georgia Tech.

The Big 12 also has four teams ranked in the AP Top 25 with Texas Tech (13), BYU (15), Utah (20) and Houston (22) earning spots.

Arizona received 33 votes in that poll, while Colorado earned three votes. Arizona State received two votes.
