Week 2 of the 2026 college football season features 86 games from Thursday, Sept. 10, through Saturday, Sept. 12. Athlon Sports is back with predictions and picks for every contest.
The first full weekend of the ’26 season starts with one contest on Thursday night, as Miami hosts Florida A&M. Five games are on tap for Friday, including Richmond-NC State, Rutgers-Boston College and Missouri-Kansas.
A full slate of action on Saturday kicks off with Oregon-Oklahoma State, Arizona State-Texas A&M, Oklahoma-Michigan and Washington State-Kansas State in the first window. The afternoon slate features Alabama-Kentucky, Arizona-BYU, Mississippi State-Minnesota, UCF-Pitt, California-Syracuse, Duke-Illinois, UTSA-Texas State and Memphis-Boise State.
The first night window includes Tennessee-Georgia Tech, Texas Tech-Oregon State, Iowa State-Iowa and the Ohio State-Texas showdown. The late-night window is headlined by North Dakota State-Air Force, Arkansas-Utah, Montana State-Nevada and Louisiana-USC.
