In a game that will set the stage for the rest of the 2026 college football season, the nation’s fourth-ranked Texas Longhorns will host top-dog Ohio State on Saturday night at DKR in Austin.

Below, I will highlight some of my favorite player prop markets heading into this top-five clash and further provide a same-game-parlay betting angle that you can take when placing wagers for Saturday’s game.

There is no other way to put this — Ohio State WR1 Jeremiah Smith is a generational talent and undoubtedly a Heisman Trophy contender in 2026.

Following a phenomenal Sophomore campaign, Smith is poised for an even better Junior year after Carnell Tate was selected in April’s NFL Draft.

In Week 1, Jeremiah caught eight passes for 151 yards and two scores in just one half of football in Ohio State’s blowout victory over Ball State.

If the Buckeyes are to go into Austin and pick up a huge top-five victory in a true road game, it will be on the back of Julian Sayin throwing the rock to Smith.

For the first leg of an SGP for Saturday night, I favor backing Jeremiah to record at least 70 receiving yards with a -177 price tag on DraftKings, which should build a solid foundation for our parlay.

I will be going back to the well for our second leg on Saturday night in Austin, thus backing the Buckeye superstar wideout to score at least one touchdown.

As a Sophomore, Smith found the back of the end zone 13 times and is well on his way to replicating that number and more this season.
