College Football 2026 Midseason All-America Team

With half of the 2026 college football season completed, it’s time to hand out some hardware in the form of midseason All-America selections. This list is likely to look drastically different by December, but the players honored and mentioned below have performed at a high level through the first seven weeks of ’26.

Miami’s Darian Mensah edges Ole Miss’ Trinidad Chambliss for first-team honors at quarterback, while the wide receiver position is loaded with Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, Miami’s Malachi Toney and Oregon State’s Jesse Legree highlighting the selections.

On the defensive side, Tennessee lineman Xavier Gilliam, Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons and Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore were three of the easiest selections. And as always on defensive awards, there was no shortage of choices to fill out the line, linebacker or secondary positions on this squad.

Who were the top players from the first seven weeks of action? Athlon Sports selects midseason All-Americans for 2026:
