College football's most hectic week came in Week 7, with five of the top seven teams losing. The Big 12 benefited from other teams' failures, as BYU, Texas Tech, and Utah all moved up in national polls.

BYU took down No. 2 Notre Dame in Provo and is now a top-three team in the country, taking over our top spot. Texas Tech put together a dominant performance against Arizona State and Utah escaped Colorado with a three-point win. Houston proved it is the clear fourth-best team in the Big 12 after an impressive home win against Oklahoma State.

Elsewhere in the conference, West Virginia and Cincinnati met in a shootout, with the Mountaineers pulling away late on a 24-point fourth-quarter run. Kansas State got the better of Kansas in the Sunflower Showdown for the 18th straight time. TCU's defense led the way as the Horned Frogs beat Baylor 17-6 in Waco.

With three teams emerging as true Big 12 title contenders, here's how all 16 Big 12 teams stack up in our latest power rankings after Week 7.
