Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC) hosted No. 1 Texas (4-0, 1-0 SEC) in Week 4 at Neyland Stadium. The Longhorns defeated the Vols, 20-17. 101,915 were in attendance for the Checker Neyland crowd.
2028 safety prospect Zion Dobson visited Tennessee for the Texas game.
"Had a great time in Rocky Top," Dobson announced. "The atmosphere was one of the best I’ve ever experienced."
The 6-foot, 160-pound defensive back is from East Forsyth High School in Gainesville, Georgia. He received a scholarship offer from the Vols on June 24.
Dobson is a four star in 247Sports Composite rankings.
North Carolina State was the first school to offer him a scholarship on April 3. Dobson also has offers from Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Florida State, West Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina Central, Appalachian State, Ole Miss, Missouri, Tulsa, Indiana, Virginia and LSU.
He attended a Florida State camp on May 31.
Quarterback Kaden Craft is Tennessee's only 2028 commitment. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect committed to the Vols on Aug. 17.
