Georgia Update

After thrashing Arkansas 45-17 in a game that wasn’t as close as the four touchdown final margin would indicate, the Dawgs remained at #2 in the latest AP Poll.

Georgia will return to Athens this weekend to face Oklahoma, who dropped out of the ranking following their 14-6 in against New Mexico.

Upset Alert

There are plenty of great matchups to choose from this week. Oregon is a 2.5 point favorite going into the Coliseum to face USC, and I think the Trojans get the win. Additionally, Texas goes into Knoxville as a 4 point favorite, and while they are the number one team in the country, Neyland is a tough environment.

My upset alert, though, is a bit of a cop out (sorry everyone). Florida is currently a three point home favorite against Ole Miss. While going into a hostile SEC environment is tough, and Vegas usually knows what they’re doing (big, shiny buildings don’t fund themselves), I am not one to bet against Trinidad Chambliss at the moment. Kewan Lacy being banged up does give me pause, but I still think the Rebels get it done on the road.
